Dedication
I would like to dedicate my work and this website to my beautiful little Heaven. She was a gift from God and truly a little piece/peace of Heaven here on earth. Thank you, my little girl, for opening my heart.
About Heaven
I rescued a week old dove from the cold and starvation focusing only on keeping her alive that first night together. I stayed awake all night praying and keeping her warm. Little did I know that within a week we would become as one, her dependent on me for food and love, me dependent on her for feeling needed and loved.
The glow of love grew stronger as her strong personality and intellect stunned me into awareness. I became aware of her incredible spirit, her ability to come up with ways to solve problems and how good she was at getting her own way. It wasn’t long before she ran the household and my heart.
I have wonderful images and memories of how she would turn around and shape her wings into a heart when I entered the room. In fact, if you look at my logo on this website, it reflects that image. She loved to snuggle with me whether it was on my knee, arm or chest. When it was near time to go to bed she would close the eye on the side of her head next to me to try and convince me she was asleep. She knew I would be reluctant to put her to bed and disturb her sleep. That is until I saw her little head move around and realized the other eye I couldn’t see was wide open.
I have images of her outside in the sun with one wing up sunning herself in her small cage and it always makes me smile. She loved watching the other birds as long as they didn’t get too close. She wasn’t happy when a sparrow landed on my head and walked around, after all that was her head to sit on. Watching her take a bath was like watching a child play in the water. She would then fly to my head, soak it, and then to her blanket to dry off and snooze. She had such a contented and happy look on her face.
The look of pure bliss as I scratched her neck and then her giving me kisses when I was done, helps me through the rough days of being without her here on earth. She always looked like she had just had an hour massage. She would stop whatever she would be doing to sit and not move until I was done meditating. The funniest thing was the way she reacted when I sang to her. I have a terrible voice and yet she would stop whatever she was doing and sit and listen. Once I was done she would continue preening or eating. She knew singing to her meant love.
She made me laugh every day. Whether it was that angry little face at something I did poking out at me, or scratching her head so that she had little feather horns on each side of her head. Her reaction to seeing snow for the first time was astounding. She actually looked up into the sky trying to figure out where that weird white stuff was coming from.
I’ve never been able to express the depth of what Heaven meant to me or what she did for me in such a short period of time. I knew she was a gift from above and she increased my spirituality and made me a better person. I received a book called “Birds Divine Messengers” by Andrea Wansbury. In it is a passage that comes the closest to the importance of Heaven. “Throughout history, birds have been a source of inspiration in helping humans to understand the physical and spiritual implications of living life on earth. Birds symbolize the spiritual nature of man by reflecting, among other things, our spiritual aspirations, our intuitive abilities, and our ability to rise above our fears and limitations, in the process, they teach us Divine principles. In additions, birds have the unique role of being personal Divine messengers.”
I didn’t know it was illegal to own a Mourning Dove and Heaven paid the price of that. I’ve come to find out that information is extremely difficult to find out and most people do not know this. We are very fortunate here in Albuquerque to have wildlife refuge places that take wild birds and I would now do so and encourage everyone, everywhere to know where these places are at and to take any wild animal to where they can be cared for properly if they become ill or injured.
Heaven would want me and everyone to know guilt is not to be felt or added to grief when there is no intent to do harm. Nor is it a normal reaction, it’s a learned one and one that needs to be unlearned. So unless you meant to do harm, it’s counter productive and does harm to you.
Heaven is in another world now being her spirited self, taking over that dimension and working her charm and magic. How lucky they are to be with her. I pray that all of you experience unconditional love as I did. I now know it’s possible and I work to give it to all those who need it. Thanks my little girl for being such an incredible Divine Messenger and my little peace of Heaven, I look forward to our reunion.
Please remember, all animals have souls and go to Heaven. Treat every animal with the love and respect they deserve.
ABOUT ME
I reside in Albuquerque, NM, “The Land of Enchantment”. It’s a spiritual place that helps me on my journey of spirituality. My work is not limited to just this area and is available to everyone via phone and e-mail.
My spiritual journey started in 1995 with help from my Guides, Angels and loved ones who have crossed over. I have studied extensively in the Metaphysical field and worked to enhance my Psychic and Medium abilities. In 1999 I entered this field and started to give readings. 2005 I became a Reiki Master to increase my abilities to help others.
I feel very blessed when I am able to help communicate loving messages from my clients’ Angels, Guides and loved ones who have crossed over. I specialize in giving each of my clients tools to help lead them on their individual paths to find peace and love within. As I have greatly benefited from Divine guidance, I will communicate their guidance to you as well. It is always done with love, honesty and intregity.
